The fifteenth century Waterend Barn is a favourite landmark in the centre of St.Albans yet nestled away from the hustle and bustle and has a secluded courtyard.

There are two barns offering a wonderful choice of venue for every kind of function. Each barn has its own bar facilities and fully sprung dance floor and may be hired together of individually. We are registered for Wedding Ceremonies, therefore you may marry in one barn and celebrate with a reception in the other.

The Large Barn will seat between 100 and 250 people whilst the smaller barn is suitable for parties of 35 to 100 people.

We pride ourselves on our personal attention, no two functions are the same, therefore we tailor your wedding to suit you. Martin Wallis, the Head Chef, can develop a menu to meet your own requirements and those with individual dietary needs. You may wish to create a special menu or indeed use one of our extensive menus. Those who prefer to have a buffet will be delighted by our range of spreads.
