Barnet &
District Angling Club are affiliated to the London Anglers Association,
the Lee Anglers Consortium, and the Ivel Protection Association.
This means that in addition to our own waters, Barnet members can
take advantage of the many fisheries controlled by those associations.
We also have
regular club outings on all our own waters, and several visits to
other fisheries. Over the season we have many trophies and competitions
to fish for, all done in a spirit of friendly competition.
B.A.D.A.C. welcomes
all types of anglers into the club and has many facilities for all
types of angling. We are not just a Men's Club, we have
many Junior and Lady members, and hold several outings geared for
their preferences. Many of our waters also have disabled facilities
so no-one need be left out.

We are a small
and friendly Angling club based in north-west Hertfordshire. Formed
in 1947,
Our open membership
policy still provides access to a wide variety of fisheries in the
area. Eleven miles of canal fishing, small and large river fisheries
along with lakes and ponds that cater for all coarse angling disciplines.
Pay-on-the-bank
day tickets are available on nearly all of our canal stretches,
and most of the club's fisheries have facilities for the disabled
angler. In recent seasons we have enjoyed a venue-sharing arrangement
with Barnet and District Angling Club, and we are affiliated to
the Milton Keynes AA and ( from the 2004/05 season ) to Reading
& District AA.
From April 2008
we have a venue-sharing agreement which will give our members access
to 3 of the 5 lakes at Verulam AC's Moor Mill complex at Park Street,
just outside St Albans.
During the last
few years carp in excess of 30lbs have been reported from our main
canal and Aylesbury Arm fisheries. Chub, which were stocked a few
years ago have also been showing in the main canal and the Arm with
pleasure catches of nets of 20lb reported. In 2002, we also stocked
tench up to 7lb in the Arm and these show during the warmer months.
Our members-only lake fishery at Rislip Farm is now finished and
fishing well, with bream of over 4lb and tench over 5lb coming out
regularly. It also holds large numbers of the small carp which are
a result of the successful spawning of the past few years.
The river fisheries have not been without their moments, with chub
to over 4lbs appearing regularly from the River Thame and small
barbel showing too.

formed by several clubs coming together to jointly manage the Slipe
Lane Pits in Wormley, Herts with the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
The pits consist
of four mixed fisheries offering something for everyone. With extensive
stocking and landscaping, a huge investment is being made in the
fishery to provide plenty of sport for anglers of all abilities.
