St. Albans Guide and Hertfordshire at your fingertips bring you this comprehensive guide to our beautiful Cathedral City, named after Saint Alban, Britain's first Martyr. Few cities throughout the world are in such an enviable and unique position as St.Albans.

St.Albans offers so much in terms of location, so close to London - some thirty minutes away by train. Extremely close links to major motorways, yet we have woodlands, parks and heaths, fresh air, beautiful villages and something no developer may take away - heritage.

St Albans Guide is geared to be the best community information station on the Internet. It is privately owned by Peter Yexley of Excel MultiMedia Limited at Hertfordshire Business Centre, Alexander Road, St.Albans, Hertfordshire. AL2 1JG.

St.Albans Guide was started in 1997 and has organically grown. Its development is largely due to visitors constantly tapping our huge information base. In one year we received over One Million Visitors !!

Many of our visitors come to St.Albans Guide in search of information, whether for business, pleasure, leisure or indeed for help in crisis. We constantly receive requests for information, and we endeavor to provide answers or at least we will pass enquiries on to someone who may be able to help, such as our local Member of Parliament, Kerry Pollard MP. No emails are ever unanswered and we strongly encourage comments and suggestions on improving St.Albans Guide. Please address your comments to suggestions@clickonhertfordshire.co.uk

St.Albans Guide has a massive business to business section and is a member of St.Albans and District Chamber of Commerce. We strongly support our business community and offer help and advice relating to Internet matters. Much of this is free to members of St.Albans & District Chamber of Commerce and we recommend that you visit its web site. The benefits of becoming a member, far out weigh the very low membership fee.

We also support Harpenden First, an organisation run by volunteers to help maintain and promote Harpenden's business and residential comunity.
